Hi, I'm Jill. For thirty years I have worked in the field of biopsychosocial health, cognition and learning. I have a special interest in neuro-development, the individuality of learning and using mindset to recognize and activate one's wellness goals. After years of working with children and adults in settings such as mental health, education, end of life care, and brain health and neurodevelopment, my life took on a specific focus due to our own son's needs. His life experiences provided the best education, adding to what I had already seen first-hand with many family members with similar needs. Our son is the best of all things Neuroverse- my word for the diverse and unique processes of cognition with different learning/processing styles. The zebras on my homepage are the icon for his genetic condition and it celebrates all of his neurodiversity. (Did you know a flock of zebras is called a dazzle, which suits our son well too) He ticks all the boxes in the unique way a person can learn, think and express themselves and I love watching his MindPop. With all that is going on in his busy brain, and the pain he feels each day from his condition, he greets life with a smile and a cheery heart. Yes, he has taught me a lot, probably much more than my graduate degrees. Let's see if we can help you find that place where your mind just feels right. I am happy to chat with you to see if my services meet your needs and to provide you with references before you begin sessions.
All my work is done online around the globe.
